My poetry is written for those, who like me, sometimes need to find that little bit of hope or comfort here and there.
Growing up near Manchester as the youngest of four, I quickly learned how important it was to be able to have some quiet time to myself.
Writing poetry from a young age I grew to love the feelings and emotions it helped me to explore.
My poems are written in a straightforward easy to understand manner, because life is complicated enough as it is.
If you need a gentle nudge to remember that you can trust in yourself, you can believe in yourself, you might find that here.
We all sometimes need a little something to help rediscover our self-belief. Life can be challenging, but look at how far you've come already.
With that reminder you know you can embrace life and whatever it may throw at you.
With the strength you've built up from your past, step forward into your future knowing you can do amazing things.
If you've ever felt discouraged or disheartened, that little bit of light you need can be found within a poem.
If you've ever felt lonely or like no-one understands you, that little bit of human kindness and connection can be found within a poem.
If you've been through difficult times, that glimmer of hope to keep on going can be found within a poem.
Sometimes it can be as simple as something to make you smile, that can definitely be found within a poem.
